The Süddeutsche Kunststoff-Zentrum (SKZ) is involved in education, training, testing and applications research in plastics. The institute is neutral and independent. It is supported by the public purse and by industry. The Gesamtverband kunststoffverarbeitende Industrie (GKV) is the central organisation of independent trade associations. With almost 1000 member companies it strongly promotes and defends the interests of plastic processors, not only in Germany but across Europe. KunststoffWeb is an internet forum taking special interest in the concerns of the plastics industry. It was initiated and is looked after by the editors of the periodicals "Kunststoff Information" and "Kunststoff". It offers attractive and comprehensive information about the whole subject of plastics. The Deutsche Kunststoffmuseum (German Plastic Museum) is Germany´s primary material museum for the most innovative developments over the past century. It shows the entire spectrum of development, milestones in design history and visions of plastics applications. Showing in an innovative and knowledegable way just how much polymers have changed our lives. |
