Plastpol 2026 Visit

MKV participates as an exhibitor for the first time.

This year marked MKV’s debut as an exhibitor at Plastpol in Kielce. The trade show took place from May 19 to 22. In terms of size, it ranks among the medium to smaller-scale shows; however, it is one of the few—and arguably the most established—trade shows in Eastern Europe, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

At the "Kunststoffland NRW" joint pavilion, MKV—represented by Charlotte Müller from Sales and Kai Zies from Management—presented itself to the Polish market alongside numerous other German companies.

Unfortunately, visitor traffic at the show was not as heavy as hoped for. Regrettably, this also had a corresponding impact on the number of conversations and contacts established. It is also a significant advantage to have a Polish speaker present at the booth.

A pleasant surprise at the fair was the new stadium seat shell for Eintracht Frankfurt, which was on display at the Grupa Azoty booth. The seat is black, made of polyamide, and incorporates recycled material. As a leading company in the mechanical recycling of engineering plastics and the production of high-quality compounds - particularly in the field of Polyamide 6 and Polyamide 6.6 - we naturally find this fantastic! We are especially looking forward to the recycling aspect, as we already possess experience in the disposal and processing of stadium seat shells (click here for the related article).

While Plastpol did not ultimately provide MKV with significantly improved access to the Polish market, it did result in a number of new contacts and a deeper understanding of the Polish market landscape.
